Rachelle Shire

Singer, rapper, producer, and lover of art and fashion, Rachelle Shire, fuses the beautiful layers and sultry tones of R&B  and the grit and wittiness  of hip hop to tell her story. Her story  begins in beautiful Southampton Bermuda where her love for art was kindled at the ripe age of five years old.  Early on Shire began to sharpen her skills as a wordsmith by writing poetry, which then transitioned to rapping around the age of nine years old. Entering her teens Rachelle began to write her own music and by the end of high school her artistry was beginning to bloom. Shire’s musical and creative evolution took place in Huntsville, AL. where she attended and graduated from two HBCUs (Historical Black Colleges and University’s). During her time in school she engrossed herself in the music scene and soon came to the realization that doing music full-time was the ultimate dream and goal for her. Shire’s music is a reflection of not only her island culture  and roots but it showcases her deep passion for storytelling, connection, and expression of the human experience through her art.
